Plynyl Presents: A Night of sound, spring, and community at The Golden Lion

Plynyl Presents: A Night of sound, spring, and community at The Golden Lion

The first Plynyl Presents event was a resounding success, with Mungo’s Hi Fi, supported by MC Kwasi and Plynyl DJs, drawing a massive crowd and setting the tone for an unforgettable night.

The Golden Lion in Todmorden was full to the rafters - a proper celebration of sound system culture, community, and connection. It was one of those nights where everything just comes together perfectly.

A huge thank you to Mungo’s Hi Fi for bringing their world-renowned reggae and dub energy.

The Plynyl Portal debut

This event also marked the debut of our Plynyl Portal - our immersive installation where revellers were invited to step into spring through our bespoke Plyfood portal, created by Kev and Aimee.

Slightly surreal, and completely in keeping with the spirit of Plynyl - creative expression, community energy, and a touch of magic woven into the night.

Plyback: Giving back through music

A percentage of ticket sales from Plynyl Presents events goes directly towards supporting the next generation of sound system culture.

You can read more about the initiative here:

This is about more than events, it’s about investing back into the culture that makes nights like this possible.
